I'm now 26 weeks pregnant and feeling like a house. The sad thing is I know I'm not even close to how big I was with Oakley that last month. After all my maternity pants still fit. I've been feeling well, although the tiredness has crept back into my life. I was hoping, because I'm much more active with Baby #2 vs. Oakley, that I wouldn't get tired again so quick. I have to remind myself that I am 34 not 24 and I'm convinced that has a lot to do with it and it's not because I'm out of shape. :-)
Giving Oakley a bath has proved to be difficult these last few weeks. I tried to get him to start taking showers with his Daddy, but noooooo. He's fine until you open the shower door to get in then he freaks out and starts crying. Now the compassionate mother that I am would make him get in the shower anyway and get use to it, however Dad is a little weaker in the heart and gives in. Any advice? Because I tell ya giving him a bath while trying to turn my belly to the side just isn't cuttin' it anymore.
Josh has been busy, but doing well. We can't complain about being busy either because let's face it our economy is in ruins. He's been able to pick up some pretty good accounts so we're managing. I feel bad because I don't think he takes time out for himself much these days. We just placed an ad in the local Money Mailer so if advertising helps our business grow it doesn't look like he'll get "Josh Time" anytime soon. He's an amazing Father and Husband and sacrifices so much for his family. I hope he knows how much I truly appreciate everything he does for us.
I think you look darling pregnant. I am wonder why everyone looks so much cuter than I do when prego. The dads are too soft sometimes. But that is good.
